Efficiency Works and our partner utilities offer rebates on applicable energy and water efficient product purchases at local and online retailers.

Thermostat

Smart thermostats


Efficiency Works currently offers up to a $50 rebate* on new ENERGY STAR® certified smart thermostats to qualified residential electric customers of Estes Park Power & Communications, Fort Collins Utilities, Longmont Power & Communications and Loveland Water and Power. *Limit 2 per address/account number every two years, line voltage smart thermostats have a limit of 4 per address/account number every two years. Not eligible for 2022-2023 Efficiency Works Homes 3x rebate offer. Rebate applications must be submitted within the same calendar year the thermostat was purchased. Rebate amount is $50 or 50% of the retail price paid for the smart thermostat (excluding taxes and fees), whichever is less. Receipt must show purchase date, amount paid, and if applicable, the shipping address is required to match the utility account address unless other accommodations have been made through Efficiency Works or our partner utilities.

LED Light Bulb

Efficiency Works, in partnership with Fort Collins Utilities, Longmont Power & Communications, Loveland Water and Power and Estes Park Power & Communications offer discounted pricing on select LED specialty bulbs at participating retailers. Discounted pricing is available at the following retailers in the aforementioned communities: Batteries Plus Bulbs, Home Depot, Lowe's, The Light Center, Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree and Dollar General.

Efficiency Works offers up to a $25 rebate* on night sky compliant fixtures. Fixtures must be ENERGY STAR® certified, fully-shielded, have a fully-integrated LED and be 3000 Kelvin or less to be eligible for the rebate. Click here to apply for your rebate.

Washing Machine

Washing machines


Efficiency Works has partnered with Home Depot to offer rebates* on select ENERGY STAR® washing machines. Look for Efficiency Works signage on eligible machines or ask an appliance sales associate at these stores for more information.

Fort Collins Utilities offers a $50 rebate on the purchase of ENERGY STAR® Most Efficient washing machines. For more detailed information on washing machine rebates visit the Fort Collins Utilities website. Click here to apply for your rebate.

*Models rebated at Home Depot are not eligible for the Fort Collins Utilities rebate. A coupon must be scanned at the time of purchase in order to receive the rebate, Efficiency Works is unable to provide a post-purchase rebate for these qualifying models.

Efficient Toilet

High efficiency toilets


Fort Collins Utilities, Loveland Water and Power and the City of Longmont offer up to a $50 rebate* on the purchase of a new 1.1 gallon per flush (gpf) or less WaterSense labeled toilets that have a MAP score of 600 grams or more . Dual flush toilets must also meet an average of 1.1 gpf to be eligible for the rebate, to calculate gpf for dual flush toilets average the amount of one full flush and two reduced flushes. Fort Collins Utilities requires recycling of old toilet in order to receive the rebate. For information on where to recycle your old toilet click here. The City of Longmont and Loveland Water and Power only offer toilet rebates for houses built prior to 1994.

Other Efficient Equipment

Other efficient water equipment


Fort Collins Utilities, the City of Longmont and Loveland Water and Power offer up to a $50 rebate on new weather-based irrigation controllers or add-ons to qualified residential water customers. Limit one per address/utility account. City of Longmont and Loveland Water and Power customers must receive an irrigation audit within the past two years to be eligible for the rebates. Residential water customers of the City of Longmont, Fort Collins Utilities and Loveland Water and Power are eligible for various rebates on new efficient irrigation equipment (e.g. rotary nozzles, rain sensors, etc.). For more detailed information, click on the link for your utility below.

Fort Collins Loveland Water District, ELCO and West Fort Collins Water District customers are not eligible for rebates.
