What: Efficiency Works is hosting a mandatory training (HVAC service providers only) on heat pumps. The class will focus on best practices related to installing heat pumps in the Efficiency Works Retrofit program. Topics will include:
- Manual J heat load calculations
- Ductwork and envelope considerations
- Heat pump sizing and selection
- Controls strategies, including proper switchover temperatures and supplemental heat
- Efficiency Works program updates
