The Efficiency Works Store is currently under construction, we expect the store to be back up and running in March 2020. No new orders will be accepted after December 31, 2019. If you placed an order prior to that date and have questions regarding order fulfillment or returns, please read below for more information. You’ll receive a confirmation email from Efficiency Works with all your order details shortly after your order has been placed. If you do not receive an order confirmation, please contact 1-844-776-6720.
Tracking information will be included in the shipping confirmation email we send to you once your order ships. Note: during peak seasonal and promotional periods, shipping estimates may be slightly delayed 3-5 business days. Please be on the lookout for your tracking email.
In order to get your order to you as quickly as possible, we begin processing your shipment immediately after you hit "submit". This means that unfortunately, we are unable to cancel orders for in stock items.
You will receive a tracking number for your shipment as soon as it’s sent to the delivery company. We cannot adjust your shipping address once your order has shipped. However, you may be able to call the delivery company with your tracking number and request that your order be re-routed.
If your return is due to a damaged/defective product or because of an error on our part, contact us and we’ll provide a pre-paid return label. For all other return reasons, the customer is responsible for the cost of the return shipping.
Once we receive your returned product and verify that all parts and product packaging are intact, we will issue a refund to your credit card within five business day. Please note that depending on your credit card company, a refund credit can take up to 7 days to appear on your statement.
Efficiency Works does not offer installation services on smart thermostats. Efficiency Works recommends smart thermostats be installed by a professional to ensure compatibility with code and heating/cooling systems. Please be aware of the installation requirements for each thermostat before purchasing. To check installation compatibility, please review the following:
Some thermostats require a C-wire to power the device. Depending on the thermostat you buy, you may or may not need a C-wire. Please check the product details of the thermostats you’re considering to find out if a C-wire is required.
If the smart thermostat you’re buying requires a C-wire and an adapter is not included, you can purchase one separately (search for “C-wire adapter”) or a contractor can help you install the device.
Make sure to check your current wiring before purchasing any thermostat, and review the installation compatibility checks listed above.
