Regional Advocates
The NW Energy Coalition is an alliance of more than 100 environmental, civic, and human service organizations, progressive utilities, and businesses in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and British Columbia that promotes renewable energy and energy conservation, consumer protection, low-income energy assistance, and fish and wildlife restoration on the Columbia and Snake rivers.
Climate Solutions is a regional non-profit dedicated to accelerating practical and profitable solutions to global warming by galvanizing leadership, growing investment and bridging divides. Climate Solutions plays a strong advocacy role in all four Northwestern states.
Washington Advocates
The Sierra Club’s Cascade Chapter has made energy efficiency and clean energy high priorities in the Club’s Washington work.
Oregon Advocates
The Citizens’ Utility Board of Oregon is the only group in the state funded by Oregon ratepayers to challenge rate increases and other matters brought before the Public Utility Commission and State Legislature by private utility companies.
Idaho Advocates
The Snake River Alliance is one of Idaho’s strongest advocates for clean and renewable energy, leading the charge for the development of a sustainable energy plan for Idaho and providing leadership and coordination among its allies.
Montana Advocates
The Montana Environmental Information Center, founded in 1973, is a non-profit environmental advocate for clean energy, clean water and a healthy environment for all Montanans.
